Steven F. Udvar-Hazy got Hungary’s grants state award
Budapest (MTI) – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán granted the Hungarian Order of Merit, Grand Cross to Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, Hungarian-American businessman and CEO of Air Lease Corporation, in Parliament on Saturday.
Addressing the event, Orbán said that a nation of fifteen million people keeps a close record of what it has given to the world and “we keep track of every Hungarian we can be proud of.”
“During the forty lean years of communism, the success stories of our American heroes helped us, inspired and encouraged us that we will be capable of many great things once we can demonstrate our skills in a free world”, he added.
