After the rain, the loss reports were pouring in, too.
Insurance companies have received loss reports worth hundreds of millions of forints because of the storms over the weekend and the extreme weather in the last couple of days, the insurance companies told MTI, reported mfor.hu.

The storms have caused an outstanding number of damages, one-third of loss reports came because of them, and the expected amount for the damages will be over 100,000,000 forints (€309,230). The number of reports has gone up in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén counties.
Employees of the insurance company are continuously assessing the damages when the damages are reported, Groupama speeds up the process, and often pays on the day of the on-site inspection, or the day after, and in cases of more significant damages, they pay an advance when needed.
The loss reports can be given online on www.groupamadirekt.hu under the “Írjon nekünk/Write us!” option, on the phone 06 1 467 3500, through fax, or in person at the customer service offices.

They were alerted the most times in Fejér, Bács-Kiskun and Komárom-Esztergom counties.
