Temperature to drop below 0°C this weekend
In the first half of the week the weather is going to be unusually warm: the temperature will rise well over 10 °C; although it’s going to rain here and there, the weekend will bring back the real winter with major temperature drops and strong wind, reports hvg.hu.
Monday is going to be cloudy, and rain can be expected in the North during the day. From the afternoon the probability of rain is high all around the country as well, coming with strong wind; the temperature is going to be between 3 and 12 °C. Tuesday will bring more sun, and showers in some places. The temperature is going rise from –1-5°C to 6-11°C in the afternoon.
Wednesday is also going to be sunny, but showers are expected with strong wind. The highest daytime temperature is expected to be between 4 and 9 °C.
According to the Hungarian Meteorological Service’s (OMSZ) forecast there’s going to be a major temperature drop in the weekend and strong winds are expected. It’s unclear yet if it’s going to rain or snow, but the temperature will drop below -10 °C in several areas, and it will be around 0 °C during the day as well.
