The 10 most popular Hungarian Christmas songs this year

For the first time, the Artisjus Hungarian Copyright Office Association (Artisjus Magyar Szerzői Jogvédő Iroda Egyesület) has compiled a top list of the most popular Hungarian Christmas songs. Give them a listen and tell us which one you like most!

In the list compiled by Artisjus, in addition to the number one rock hit, several pop songs and a song considered to be a children’s song, a cover of a poem by Sándor Weöres, were also included, Lelépő writes. The songs include hits from decades ago as well as newer compositions.

“Artisjus pays royalties to authors for a wide variety of music uses, so we have data from a wide range of sources. In addition to concert performances, we also receive information on radio and television playback, online listening, recorded music publishing and background music in shops,” explained Péter Benjamint Tóth, Business Transformation Director at Artisjus, in connection with the compilation of the list.
