The 10th Strand Festival at Lake Balaton starts today
For the tenth time, the Strand Festival at Lake Balaton in Zamárdi returns this year inviting all party-goers to celebrate the final days of summer. In addition to Hungarian performers, the audience will be entertained by a variety of programmes and foreign world stars. Among others, Sean Paul, Parov Stelar and Timmy Trumpet will set the stage on fire.
The more than 10 stages and venues will host nearly 200 programmes over the course of four days, writes origo.hu. Jamaican superstar Sean Paul, Austrian electro swing artist Parov Stelar and popular Australian trumpet player DJ Timmy Trumpet are among the main performers.

The exciting line-up also includes Alvaro Soler, Clean Bandit, Kungs, Sam Feldt, The Stichman Project and Tom Walker. In addition, the party series will feature the cream of the Hungarian music scene. On 20 August, the biggest fireworks display on Lake Balaton will be visible from the open-air beach of Zamárdi. Furthermore, visitors can attend a bonfire and a podcast festival at the jubilee Strand Festival.
