The Hungarian government has asked for the personal data of 224 Facebook users
Facebook is giving out sensitive information about its users to the Hungarian government, including personal data, IP addresses, and messages, hvg.hu writes.
According to Facebook’s report, the government has asked for information 178 times in the second half of 2015, and needed data on 224 Hungarian users. The number of users the government was interested in is exactly the same as it was in the first half of 2015.
Facebook has granted access to the data in the case of 75 users (42.12%), and sent part of, or all the information that was requested by the government. These can be information concerning the user, the user’s location based on the computer’s IP address, and the user’s sent or received messages.
