They are the prettiest Hungarian women of 2018

Yesterday the Hungarian jury chose Andrea Szarvas to be the winner of the Miss World Hungary 2018 beauty contest. Besides, she got the awards of the audience and the most beautiful smile, as well – according to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu.

Four different dresses, special performances

The beauty competition was streamed by the Duna TV and the Duna World on Sunday evening. The winner can bear her title for one year and

she will represent Hungary at the Miss World 2018 in December in China.

Andrea’s first maid of honour became Patrícia Galambos while the Hungarian jury chose Eszter Józsa to be her second maid. Besides, Andrea Szarvas got the awards of the audience, and the most beautiful smile, too.

During the monumental gala show the finalists had to walk in four different dresses on the catwalk.

In the first tour, they wore bikini which was followed by “creative” dress inspired by the FIFA world championships. Then they had to take traditional Hungarian costumes while finally, they performed in nightdresses. In fact, the latter dresses were designed by Zita Bélavári. After each tour those two girls were dropped out who received the least points from the jury.

Interestingly, there were

impressive music performances during the night, as well.

At the beginning, Freddie sang his newest song with the help of a gospel choir and Olivér Berkes also presented his newest composition. In the creative tour the audience’s favourite at Eurovision, the Austrian Cesár Sampson presented his Nobody but You hit.

Music premieres during the show

Nika and the Full Moon transformed a well-known Hungarian folk song into something modern during the traditional costume contest. Finally, the nightdress phase was helped by the exclusive performance of Olivér Berkes, Freddie, Viktor Király and Tamás Veréb. During the night a new talent, Zävodi premiered with his first song in television, too.

In fact, 20 girls were chosen this year out of

500 applicants in many rounds.

After this they moved to a camp in Visegrád to prepare for the competition. There the contestants competed with each other for two weeks. For example, the jury chose Miss Beauty Face, Miss Bikini, Miss Sport and Miss Talent and after each contest somebody had to leave the camp.
