These Hungarian hotels shined at the World Luxury Hotel Awards
At the end of October, Athens hosted the 17th World Luxury Awards Gala, during which five Hungarian hotels were honoured. Moreover, two of them were ranked among the world’s top hotels.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards
Founded in 2006, the World Luxury Hotel Awards has established itself as one of the most esteemed awards in both the tourism sector and the hospitality industry. Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa garnered the most awards
As we reported earlier, the Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa in Sárvár emerged as the star of the evening, clinching a total of seven awards across various categories. Notable awards include Global Spa of the Year and Luxury Country Hotel of the Year.
Diverse recognition for Hungarian excellence
In addition to the Spirit Hotel, four other Hungarian hotels received well-deserved recognition. The Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest, Botaniq Castle of Tura, LUA Resort Balatonfüred and Hungarikum Hotel were all honoured at the gala, showcasing the diverse excellence within Hungary’s hospitality landscape.
LUA Resort Balatonfüred
LUA Resort in Balatonfüred stood out by clinching the title of Europe’s Best Waterfront Luxury Hotel. It also earned distinctions as the region’s Best Adult-friendly Hotel and Hungary’s Best New Luxury Hotel, solidifying its status as a triple crown winner.
Hungarikum Hotel in Lakitelek
The Hungarikum Hotel in Lakitelek was recognised as the Best Luxury Cultural Hotel in the region. Furthermore, it earned the title of Hungary’s Best Concept and Heritage Hotel, emphasising its commitment to preserving and showcasing cultural heritage.
Párisi Udvar Budapest Hotel
The Párisi Udvar Budapest Hotel received international acclaim as the World’s Best Luxury Heritage Hotel. Additionally, it was recognised as the Best Historic Luxury Hotel in the region and the Best Luxury Hotel in Hungary, solidifying its position as a global heritage gem.
Botaniq Castle of Tura
The Botaniq Castle of Tura secured its place in European excellence, winning the titles of the Best Luxury Heritage Hotel and the Best Luxury Castle Hotel on the continent. Hotel manager Péter Knoll expressed his pride in the team’s efforts, particularly in the renovation of the former Schossberger Castle, now known as Botaniq Castle of Tura.
