Tickets for the 2017 FINA World Championships on sale from 1st of December!
Éva Szántó, managing director of Bp2017 Ltd, the company which is responsible for organising the 2017 FINA World Championships, announced on Monday that tickets for the biggest sport event in Hungary’s history that will take place in Budapest and Balatonfüred from 14 to 30 July 2017 will be on sale from 1 December online and through official partner Eventim agency.
„It is a very important moment, I hope a lot of people will take the opportunity to buy some tickets for themselves or for their friends. Our goal was to make the World Championships affordable for everyone. Tickets are on sale from only 500 HUF, so thousands of Hungarian fans could enjoy the best moments of the event” – Éva Szántó said.
In the new Dagály Aquatics Arena which is being built there will be a grandstand with the capacity of 12,000 people. The organisers can sell 9,000 tickets for each day of the World Championships. The Dagály will host the diving and swimming competitions.
The Alfréd Hajós Complex will be the venue of the water polo tournament. 8,000 fans will have the chance to support their team every day. High diving will be held in Batthyány square in front of up to 1200 fans, and the capacity of the stand in Balatonfüred, the scene of open water swimming, will be roughly the same.
About 3000 people could watch the synchronised swimming events in the temporary pool in the Városliget.
Tickets are on sale from 1 December on ’jegyed.hu’, which can be reached through the official website of the World Championships ’ fina-budapest2017.com’ as well.
