Tragedy on Hungarian motorway: minibus offering aid hit in deadly accident
Two people were killed and several others injured after several vehicles collided on the M5 motorway on the Budapest-bound side at Inárcs, the press officer of the Pest County Police Headquarters told MTI on Monday morning.
Anita Váraljai said that the accident happened when an SUV drove into a ditch on the motorway, and then a Romanian car drove into a minibus parked in the emergency lane. Two people were killed on the spot, one seriously injured and one slightly injured. The injured were taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to Útinform’s website, only the inside lane is open at km 38, with traffic congestion.
