Travolta flies his own aeroplane to Budapest; here is why – PHOTOS, VIDEO
Hungary is becoming an increasingly popular filming location for Hollywood productions, thanks to which more and more world-famous actors and actresses are visiting the country these days. Not so long ago, we have reported that John Travolta had visited her daughter, who is filming her first movie in Hungary.
Currently, Ella Bleu Travolta is starring in the large-scale American-Hungarian co-production titled Get Lost, a modern-day retelling of Alice in Wonderland. In our previous article, we wrote about John Travolta travelling to Hungary to see her daughter. Still, he also stayed a bit longer and visited and met the directors of the National Film Institute in Budapest.
According to the social media page of the National Film Institute, Travolta visited the Hungarian film history exhibition named Nagylátószög (Wide Angle) in the Ludwig Museum. They said that the actor was fascinated and amazed by how rich the 120 years of Hungarian film history were.
“He was astonished by how much Hungarians are connected to Hollywood and by the fact that Hungarians founded both Paramount and 20th Century Fox” – the National Film Institute said.
The exhibition also informs about the over 50 Hungarian or Hungary-related people who have received an Oscar and the over 500 emigrated Hungarians who have made a career for themselves in the film industry worldwide.

It turns out that not only Travolta’s daughter but also his son, Ben got a role in the movie. According to Hvg, the movie’s shooting seems to be over as a few days ago, John Travolta visited Hungary by his own plane to bring his daughter home.
The famous movie star had posted a compilation of his most recent travel to Budapest on his Instagram, and if you have a sharp eye, you can see some of Budapest’s beautiful cityscapes.
What is more, even Travolta’s daughter herself has shared her filming experience in an Instagram post, with one of the photos featuring one of Budapest’s tourist attractions, the Saint Stephen’s Basilica, in the background.
