Wizz Air’s mega deal with travel agency unveils exciting summer flights and more!
TUI, a travel agency, has recently signed a new agreement with Wizz Air, marking a significant expansion in its portfolio. Building upon the triumph of its winter flights, the Hungarian carrier is set to introduce fresh routes for the summer of 2024.
The introduction of these new flights represents a significant expansion of the portfolio from both Vienna and Budapest which greatly enhances options for travellers, according to turizmusonline.hu.
More Wizz Air flights
Alongside Austrian Airlines’ existing three weekly flights from Vienna to Chania in Crete during the summer season, travellers can now access two extra Wizz Air flights starting from the 30th of June.
Wizz Air’s success is currently notable not only because of its recent deal with TUI but also because of its recent achievement of winning the European Strategic Investment of the Year award at the 2023 SAF Investor Awards in London. This prestigious event acknowledges industry leaders who have made substantial capital investments aimed at supporting the decarbonisation of aviation, thereby playing a crucial role in fostering the growth of the industry, according to turizmusonline.com.
Furthermore, there will be an additional flight to Larnaca in Cyprus every Saturday, and another to Burgas in Bulgaria every Sunday, providing even more flexibility and convenience for those planning their journeys.
What can guests expect from TUI?
In addition to the current flights to Turkey and Egypt, Hungarian TUI customers will now have the option to fly twice a week with Wizz Air to Larnaca and Heraklion during the summer months. To enhance the convenience of travel, TUI passengers can enjoy the privilege of carrying one 10-kilogram carry-on and one checked bag of up to 20 kilograms without any additional fees on Wizz Air flights. What is more, they will not incur charges for airport check-in services.
Aside from offering flights, TUI provides an extensive array of hotels catering to all target groups, featuring TUI hotel brands in some of the globe’s most sought-after holiday spots. Among this year’s noteworthy additions is the TUI Kids Club Sol Nessebar located on the picturesque Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.
Additionally, for budget-conscious TUI guests aged 16 and above, the TUI Suneo Perla provides delightful experiences on the Sunshine Coast.
