According to turizmus.com, Chef Lázár Kovács has opened a new pizza place at the foot of Budapest’s picturesque Sváb Hill, situated within the Jókai Club, a cultural hub in the city’s 12th district. The club, which had been closed for several years, has now been revitalised.
Chef Lázár devised a renovation and operational concept aimed at rejuvenating the club’s gastronomic offerings. As a result, the Jókai Club can now host a variety of social events and programmes for both locals and visitors. The pizza place’s name derived from a 7th place at the 2022 Pizza World Championships in Parma, acquired by a team of Lázár Kovács and László Damu.
