Preliminary data show that 7,361 children were born and 10,808 people died in October 2022, with the number of live births decreasing by 3.9 percent and deaths by 8.3 percent in November 2021-October 2022 compared with the same period a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Monday.

The natural population loss was 3,447 in October this year as against 3,501 in October 2021, KSH said.

In October 2022, 4,712 couples tied the knot, down 11 percent from October 2021.

In the past 12 months, 88,834 children were born, down 3.9 percent from the same period of last year, while 144,169 people died, 8.3 percent fewer than in the previous year.

The natural population loss came to 55,335 compared with 64,720 in the same period of last year, a drop of 12 percent.

Between November 2021 and October 2022, 66,260 couples were married, 6.4 percent fewer than in the previous year. The number of marriages decreased by 9.0% in January–October this year, within which 10% less marriages were registered in January–April, 11% less in June–October and 3.6% more in May than in the same months of 2021.

There were 9.2 live births and 14.9 deaths per thousand population. The rate of live births was 0.3 per mille point and that of deaths 1.3 per mille points lower than in November 2020–October 2021, as a result of which the rate of natural decrease was down by 0.9 per mille point to 5.7 per mille. The number of infant deaths was 3.4 per thousand live births, 0.1 per mille point larger than in the previous twelve months.

As we wrote earlier, Hungary is one of the countries in Europe where the average life expectancy of people has fallen the most, details HERE.

  1. Finding a BLEND: says:

In the (12) twelve years, under the Orban Government, all that has transpired into the population of Hungary – the political, citizens opinions – what’s best for Hungary going forward, the “BLENDS” of migration, throughout these (12) twelve years – the “MEAN” has been, that greater numbers of Hungarians die yearly than babies being born.
Nothing talking statistically – has CHANGED.
This MEANS – we are becoming an OLDER society.
    WHAT is the ANSWER?
That does not come back to opening our doors to whom may wish to live on our lands.

Rather too many elderly people than non-Western migrants. Look at the violence, the stabbing with knives and the many robberies in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and Sweden. In the Netherlands they walk with machetes, bus drivers are beaten up. It’s terrible.
