A hybrid Porsche caught fire on Tuesday afternoon on the Hungarian M0 motorway. While on another road, a woman was hit by a truck while trying to rescue a deer.

A hybrid Porsche caught fire on the M0 motorway in Hungary. The National Directorate General for Disaster Management is investigating the causes and circumstances of the blaze.

By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, the sports car was already fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished by firefighters from Monor and Budapest. A complicating factor was that the vehicle’s batteries had boiled to 750 degrees Celsius.

As the car is a high-value vehicle, the causes and circumstances of the flame are being investigated by the Board of Directors in a fire investigation procedure.

A woman was fatally hit by a lorry while trying to save a deer

A woman was killed on Wednesday on the outskirts of Mórahalom. A car with Serbian registration plates stopped and the woman got out of the car to chase a deer off the road, rtl.hu reports. According to RTL, there was also another female passenger in the car, who watched the driver being run over.
