VIDEO: Hungarian Film Days in Ulaanbaatar features epic movie about Hungary’s Tatar invasion
House Speaker László Kövér on Saturday opened the first Hungarian Film Days in Ulaanbaatar, along with Munkhuu Batbayar, Mongolia’s deputy minister for culture.
Kövér welcomed the agreements recently concluded on Hungarian-Mongolian cultural cooperation. The festival features 1242-Gateway to the west, a Hungarian-Mongolian-Australian-British coproduction which was made with Mongolian filmmakers working in Hungary, he said. Cooperation will hopefully continue in other projects, he added. Munkhuu Batbayar said Hungary is an important cultural partner of Mongolia.
