Viktor Orbán: Brussels fails to protect families and children

Brussels is supporting migration and does not protect families and children which should be the other way round, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video on Friday evening, after arriving in Warsaw.

The Polish capital is a host of twelve party leaders who seek “to be a voice of the many tens of millions of people who are European citizens but do not feel represented in any platform at all,” Orbán said on Facebook.

Yet still the Hungarian government is dragging its heels on introducing laws requiring what is known as ‘hard identification’ for age before people can access the readily available pornography websites on the internet, hence so many children seeing what they should not be seeing. Simply clicking a button that says ‘I am over 18’ is no protection whatsoever and many parents do not monitor the internet usage by their children. That is an area of child protection in which Hungary is increasingly behind in.
