The Hungarian government abolished the fuel price caps on Tuesday. As a result, everybody has to pay a market price for gasoline and diesel, meaning prices went up by more than 30 percent. We will show you where you can buy fuel for the lowest prices momentarily.

Auchan offers gasoline for an exceptionally reduced price currently in Hungary. Furthermore, they highlighted they had enough of it in all their petrol stations. The hypermarket’s profits will probably rise sky-high thanks to the prices, szmo.hu wrote.

The PR agency of the supermarket chain said they switched to market price and have enough fuel to supply the needs of their customers. Their official prices are the following from Friday midnight:

Gasoline 95: HUF 599 per litre (EUR 1.44)
Diesel: HUF 669 per litre (EUR 1.60)
