Weather in Hungary: Spring knocked on the door, but we have to be careful

Spring appears to have knocked on Hungary’s door earlier than expected, with mild, at times almost springlike weather dominating the coming days. However, meteorologists warn that this does not mean winter has said its final goodbye, as colder conditions could still return later in the season.
It might look like springtime is already here, but we will have to wait a bit more
According to forecasts, Hungary will continue to experience temperatures above the seasonal average in the short term. During the early hours of Saturday, only northern regions and some southern and south-eastern counties recorded light frost. Daytime temperatures remain generally mild, with highs ranging between 6 and 12°C across most of the country. Cooler conditions are expected mainly in the north-eastern regions.
The long-awaited winter cold is still absent, and although a slight cooling is expected in higher layers of the atmosphere early next week, milder air masses are forecast to move back over Hungary during the second half of the week. Experts emphasise that this warming trend may only be temporary, and colder spells cannot be ruled out later.
