Winter time is tomorrow: Here’s how it will affect Hungary’s public transport

Winter time will begin on Sunday, when clocks will officially be set back from 3:00 AM to 2:00 AM. The time change will affect the schedules of several domestic and international trains, a few local and intercity bus services, as well as some of Budapest’s night bus routes.
Winter time will bring changes to public transport
According to a statement by the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK), departure times on a few routes—mainly those with less frequent services—will be adjusted slightly. However, most night services operating between 2:00 and 3:00 AM will run according to both summer and winter time, particularly those departing every hour, half hour, or more frequently.
Information from MÁVINFORM indicates that the time adjustment will affect the schedules of certain domestic and international trains, and that some regional Volánbusz routes in the Érd and Kiskunhalas areas will also be modified.

Trains affected by the clock change include one service on the Budapest–Győr–Hegyeshalom line, two on the Budapest–Esztergom route, two on the Budapest–Székesfehérvár line, three on the Budapest–Vác–Szob route, one on the Budapest–Veresegyház–Vácrátót–Vác line, and four on the Budapest–Cegléd–Szolnok–Debrecen–Nyíregyháza–Záhony line.
