Wizz Air flights to be tripled
Wizz Air has announced that it will increase the number of direct flights from Budapest to Dubai in the 2019/20 winter season. Starting from the 27th of October, you can catch a plane to the United Arab Emirates 7 times a week.
There will be a direct flight from Budapest Airport to Dubai on each day of the week, according to turizmusonline.hu. András Radó, Wizz Air communication director, told the public that “Dubai has become one of the top winter tourist destinations in the past few years. Wizz Air is adamant on delivering a summer experience in winter to Hungarian clients: and we are going to do that every day from now on. Since introducing the Dubai flight in 2013, its popularity has not faltered in Hungary.
We are proud of being able to fly our clients to one of the most modern cities in the Arabic world while providing top notch airplanes with the highest quality services onboard. All that, naturally, while keeping it all very cheap.”
There are currently daily flights available from Budapest to Dubai provided by Emirates Airlines which are, obviously, more expensive than Wizzair flights.
Wizzair’s announcement comes after evidence that the touristic fervour of Hungarians continues to grow.
As per napi.hu, Turkey has become the third most popular travel destination after Croatia and Greece. This stands in contrast to experiences of previous years.
