World-famous producer Andy Vajna’s widow cuts all ties with Hungary
It’s been 4 years since the death of Andy Vajna, who left his widow Tímea Vajna a huge fortune. The 40-year-old model-media personality has since found a new fiancé and is spending more and more time in the US. Last year, she also acquired citizenship and, according to the latest reports, is planning to relocate to the US completely, effectively ending her life in Hungary.
According to Blikk, part of this is that Tímea Vajna is selling her interest in the Nobu restaurant in Budapest. She also inherited the ownership share from Andy Vajna.
“Vajna Tímea wants to get out of Nobu and completely liquidate all her business ties in Hungary.”
– an insider told the newspaper.
Although there have been rumours recently that Tímea Vajna and her fiancé, Zoltán may have broken up, this insider now says that her fiancé will continue to help Tímea Vajna as a consultant. He was also one of the owners of Nobu, but now he also intends to sell his shares.
The Nobu chain currently has 13 hotels and about 50 restaurants, and actor Robert De Niro is among the founders. Tímea Vajna is in negotiations with her American business partner Samuel Russel Falconello about a change of ownership.
