BlueVoyant has set up its European regional headquarters in Budapest, with the number of staff at the Budapest operations centre set to double in the next year, the cybersecurity company said on Saturday.
Since its founding, BlueVoyant has developed a customer base of more than 700 people in twenty countries in five years, making it the world’s leading cyber defence company, Index writes. In Hungary, their clients are mainly in the financial, media and government sectors.

And this year, Hungary has been chosen as the cybersecurity operations centre for six countries to monitor and protect customers’ digital ecosystem. As described, the company has already completed several rounds of funding, the latest of which reached USD 250 million. The Budapest operations centre, which will underpin European expansion, is also part of the investment.
György Róbert Rácz, Head of BlueVoyant Europe, said that the US-based company opened its newest headquarters in Budapest to strengthen its European presence with the unique human resources expertise available here from the start. He also pointed out that the Hungarian market is highly polarised, but BlueVoyant is actively working to change and develop this in Hungary as well, MTI reported.
