Protection for Orban increased by counter terrorism centre

Budapest, October 28 (MTI) – The level of protection for Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his family has been increased by the counter terrorism centre TEK due to illegal migration, the daily Magyar Idok said on Wednesday.

Increased protection for Orban and his environment, including his family, is necessary because security services have uncovered terrorist threats in connection with illegal migrants, the paper said. In addition to TEK, the national security services are also involved in protecting Orban.

Former deputy leader of the military secret services Jozsef Horvath said that raising the level of protection for Orban and his family was part of security protocol and TEK had no other option, the paper said.
