Delightful news: The 100E Airport Express will run more frequently in Budapest

Naturally, more people travel to Hungary during the summer months. Consequently, Budapest Airport is more crowded than usual, making transportation to the airport a crucial issue. The 100E Airport Express can be extremely busy at times. In response to the increased summer traffic at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Budapest’s public transport company (BKK) has announced that the 100E Airport Express will operate more frequently.

More tourists in the summer season

As reported by 24.hu, anticipating a rise in summer traffic at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Budapest’s public transport company (BKK) has announced that the 100E Airport Express will operate more frequently during the day starting from Friday. This enhanced service aims to provide a smoother and more efficient travel experience for passengers between Deák Ferenc Square and the airport.

Increased frequency

Starting today, buses will depart to and from Budapest Airport every 7-8 minutes on weekdays, a significant increase from the usual schedule. This adjustment ensures that the express service is aligned with the summer season traffic patterns of the airport. There will be more frequent departures towards the airport in the early hours to accommodate morning travellers, and increased frequency towards the city centre in the late evening to facilitate return trips.

100E Airport Express

The 100E Airport Express provides a direct connection between Ferenc Liszt International Airport and Deák Ferenc Square, the central transportation hub of Budapest, with a stop at Kálvin Square. This bus service operates around the clock, catering to both daytime and nighttime passengers. Hopefully, BKK’s initiative to increase the frequency of the 100E Airport Express will ensure smooth and convenient travel for both residents and visitors during the busy summer months.

NEED of Re-configuration of Bus INTERNAL lay-out : says:

The internal structure of the buses, need to be re-designed to ALLOW greater EASE when boarding and alighting when you have luggage.
Buses need set up – INTERNALLY, like do away with seats – to allow for greater accessibility for the purpose refered in the paragraph above.
PASSENGER comfort.
PASSENGER SAFETY.
Bit of THINKING needs applying by the Government and BKK.
Tourists NOTICE this un-comfortable boarding and alighting and made WORSE if you have LUGGAGE which 95% especially in the summer months passengers DO.

Yes, need to do redesign internally of the 100E airport bus service.
Tram – center Lyon, France, approx. 30 minutes trip, runs mainly on there tram network of lines, prior to the last 4 kms, when it then accelerates to travel at 100 km.
These very comfortable – and user passenger travellers TRAMS – are specifically built for the purpose of Tourist / TRAVELLERS into Lyon from there airport or to the airport.
The internal carriages of the trams – have SPECIALLY been designed “storage racks” for cases, those “disturbing” LARGISH back pacts and “other” luggage.
Gut them in part the 100E buses and yes re-design THEM.
