35 migrants apprehended at Serbia-Hungary border

Border police stopped 35 illegal migrants near the Kelebia border crossing on the Serbian-Hungarian border on Tuesday, Bacs-Kiskun county police said on its website.
The migrants had hidden in a wagon and on the undercarriage of a Serbian freight train, police said.
They had no valid identification, the statement said. Eighteen declared themselves to be Iranian, fourteen Afghan and three said they were Iraqi nationals.
The Hungarian police escorted them back to the border fence, the statement said.
As we wrote a week ago, a Romanian man got almost all the way to the Austrian border with 16 people crammed into his vehicle’s airless trunk. Details here.
