5 great autumn events in Hungary
There are many interesting and really nice outdoor activities to enjoy in the new season and say goodbye to summer.
Maratonman Zamárdi 2021. DM Balatun Run
This event takes place on September 4. The run will be in Zamárdi, Szabadstrand, and a total of 3,000 people can participate. Runners can choose between different distances: 5.25 km, 10.5 km or 21.1 km. There will be two categories: individual and half marathon relay. Extra races will be the following: children’s races and Nordic Walking.
Roman Festival at Aquincum Museum
“On Saturday and Sunday, September 4 and 5, we are awaiting our Visitors at the Aquincum Museum during the Roman Festival with traditional demonstrations, craft classes, a presentation of Roman crafts, and other exciting programs. Budapest Wine Festival
Budavár Palace opens its doors to visitors of the Budapest Wine Festival. There, you can try various wines from both Hungary and abroad. If you like wine tastings with an exquisite view, this is your place to be. Cultural programs and gastronomy will also await visitors. The event takes place between 23 and 26 September.

Szombathely: the Savaria Days and Wine Festival
