Magnit puts off plan for Hungary logistics base
(MTI) – Russian retailer Magnit is postponing plans to build a logistics centre in Hungary because of Russia’s embargo on imports of a range of farm products from the European Union, Russian real estate news portal 1rre.ru said.

If the situation changes for the better, the company is prepared to go ahead with the logistics base, a spokesperson for Magnit told the portal.
The forwarding base near Zahony, a major border crossing to Ukraine, was planned for a fleet of 1,000 transport vehicles. The plans to build the base were announced late in 2013.
