Have you heard about the Tikverőzés? – VIDEO
Once every year, exactly on Shrove Tuesday, the local villagers dress in handmade costumes and they smut with ashes the people and animals, to bring them luck and fertility. Their duty is also to chase winter away.
The village Moha’s residents involved in the fun reality.
The Tikverőzés was listed on UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2011.
