Czech airline to relaunch flight to Hévíz-Balaton Airport
Budapest, March 31 (MTI) – Czech national airline CSA will relaunch its flight between Prague and western Hungary’s Hévíz-Balaton Airport in April, the municipal office of Héviz said on Friday.
CSA will operate the scheduled flight on Saturday until late October, similarly to its service operated in 2014.
A major incentive for Czech guests are services in the spa town, which is home to Europe’s largest thermal lake, and recreation programmes offered in the region around Lake Balaton.
The number of guest nights spent by Czech tourists in the region went up by 54 percent to over 42,000 last year compared to 2015.
The flight is also expected to facilitate travels by Hungarian tourists to Prague, a popular destination for them.
