On This Weekend: Kylie Minogue Will Be in Budapest
The tour opened in the UK and comprise 31 shows in 15 countries – including Hungary, on October 18th in the Budapest Arena. Famous for her live shows, Kylie’s Kiss Me Once Tour will be true to form as a celebration of both new and old material.
Kylie’s brand new album, ‘Kiss Me Once’ was released in March. It is her first studio album since 2010’s ‘Aphrodite’. The album was executive produced by Kylie and Sia, who also penned the title track. Kylie also teams up with Pharrell Williams (who wrote and produced ‘I Was Gonna Cancel’). Other producers include Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM) on ‘If Only’, MNEK on ‘Feels So Good’, and Greg Kurstin on bonus track ‘Sleeping With The Enemy’.
Kylie Minogue exploded onto the music scene in 1987 and has not only become a chart-topping, multi-award winning global artist over the past two decades, but also a fashion icon, designer, entrepreneur, actress and philanthropist. She now has 46 consecutive chart-topping U.K. hits.
Despite over two decades worth of impressive accomplishments, Kylie is just getting started. After signing a management deal in 2013 with Roc Nation, she is poised to take the world by storm for decades yet to come.
