Budapest’s Hotel Intercontinental will host the fourth Diplomatic Fair, a charity event featuring theatre performances, children programmes and a raffle, on Sunday.
Visitors will get a chance to buy goods from 45 national stands and taste dishes from 30 countries, Katalin Skaper, the deputy head of organiser Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest, told a press conference on Sunday.
Representatives of the international communities in Budapest will present Arab folk costumes and dances from India, Korea and Serbia, and the programme will also include Azeri, Nigerian, Palestinian and Chilean performances.
The national stands will present artifacts from 45 countries and gifts can be bought from, among others, Jordan, Nigeria, Qatar, Korea, Japan, Kuwait and Algeria.
The chief patron of the event is First Lady Anita Herczegh, wife of President Janos Ader.
