New Minsk-Budapest-Belgrade flight to boost exports of services
A new flight by the national air carrier Belavia to Belgrade via Budapest, which opened on 19 September, will make its contribution to the expansion of the exports of services, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia Vladimir Chushev told BelTA.
“I think the new flight will contribute to an increase in the exports of services as the air carrier is Belarusian. The head of state has given instructions to increase trade between Belarus and Serbia to $500 million, which is three times higher than we have in mutual trade today. We see encouraging results this year,” Vladimir Chushev said.
In his words, the new flight will benefit various categories of passengers. “For instance, we have several scheduled visits, including those related to the organization of the Days of Belarus’ Culture in Serbia and the Days of Serbia’s Culture in Belarus. We also expect pilgrims to use the flight and hope for an active youth and sports exchange,” the diplomat stressed.
