Turkish television focuses on Hungary on March 15

Budapest (MTI) – Turkey’s public television TRT will present Hungary, with a focus on common traditions, economic and cultural ties, on a thematic day on March 15.

Beatrix Siklosi, editor-in-chief at the Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA) said Hungary’s public media held a similar thematic day dedicated to Turkey on October 29, Turkey’s Republic Day.

Thematic days are held under the arrangements of a cooperation programme signed by public media heads from the two countries in December 2013, she added.

The programme of the thematic day will include a film about composer Bela Bartok, and a film crew of the Turkish television has recently visited Hungary, Siklosi said.
