Turkish Airlines to boost flights from Budapest to Istanbul from July
Budapest, April 15 (MTI) – Turkish Airlines will raise the number of its daily flights between Budapest and Istanbul to four from July 3, the foreign affairs ministry said on Wednesday.
The fourth flight will only be operated under the summer timetable, until October, for the moment, the ministry told MTI.
It said that Turkish Airlines carried 238,000 passengers to Budapest in 2014, which could rise to 280,000 with the fourth daily flight.
The airline aims to soon double the number of Turkish passengers visiting Hungary from the current 60,000 a year and the number of Hungarians travelling to Turkey from the current 100,000 a year, it said.
