On this weekend: BelFeszt 2015 – The biggest free festival in Hungary
According to fesztivalok.varosom.hu, The Belvárosi Festival continues its unbreakable success in 2015 and by now, we can take it for sure that between 5th and 7th June more than 10 thousand people will make happen that the country’s biggest free festival will be held.
The Belvárosi Festival
To have a festival in the heart of Budapest, at Lipótváros? To party at the biggest Hungarian bands for free? Yes, there is such a thing: it’s called Belvárosi Festival or its short version: Belfeszt. For this, we have to congratulate the 5th district because they have managed to make a fantastic festival.
The Deák Ferenc Street, the Erzsébet square, the Szabadság square and the Zrínyi Street are perfect locations. Not only because they give a delightful atmosphere to the festival but also because as the saying goes: ‘all roads lead to Rome’; therefore, anyone can find these locations and we have to admit that after a long walk it is a delightful surprise if we end up at a festival.
And as we speak about the locations, we will remain here a little bit because the repertoire makes us stay. There will be concerts in the early afternoon which will be very colorful: jazz, rock, pop, folk music and other styles, too. If we came with children, for them playgrounds and children programs will be organized but we can easily run into a fashion show, a film projection or a folk dance show.
The Belvárosi Festival is made for us. For us, who enjoy the city and the lively atmosphere but who also enjoy sitting on a bench to look around. For us who love new things but also want to preserve traditions. But the most important thing is that we love to enjoy ourselves and we adore festivals.
