Budapest’s new city quarter, BudaPart, is on the rise, with a possible new tram line on the Danube shore!

As reported by pestbuda.hu, the new quarter in Újbuda called BudaPart (BudaShore) is developing at an impressive pace. Its first part has not even been completed yet, but they already have the necessary permits to begin work on the next section.

Those who frequent the area a lot may have noticed the numerous cranes operated in the southern part of Buda. They are there for the construction of the new city quarter in Újbuda, BudaPart. According to the plans, apartment houses, office blocks, different services as well as resting areas will be built near the Kopaszi Dam.

Construction work on the office block called BudaPart Gate started last June. It got its name because it is meant to be the gateway for the new quarter, opposite the new campus of the MOL Group that is under construction, too, with a new steeple being built.

BudaPart Gate offices are planned to be of high technical quality and possess a remarkable appearance, with flexible office spaces inside.

BudaPart Gate is not complete just yet. Nevertheless, the construction of buildings “A” and “C” of the BudaPart Homes project began in May, and works on buildings “B” and “D” kicked off not long ago as well. Of course, BudaPart Gate is not going to be the only office block.
