Transformed Napi Gazdasag to get new name: Magyar Idok
Budapest, July 29 (MTI) – Daily Napi Gazdasag (Business Daily), whose publisher was recently acquired by the former editor-in-chief of daily Magyar Nemzet, will be renamed Magyar Idok (Hungarian Times) from September, editor-in-chief Peter Csermely said on Wednesday.
Csermely told MTI that the paper had undergone a transformation since the acquisition from a business journal to a general interest paper.
Csermely, as well as Gabor Liszkay, the new owner of Napi Gazdasag’s publisher, resigned from daily Magyar Nemzet in February, after a falling out between the paper’s owner Lajos Simicska and the prime minister.
