‘Green Electronics 2013’, Budapest, Hungary

A workshop entitled ‘Green Electronics 2013’ will be held from 4 to 6 November 2013 in Budapest, Hungary.

In 2010 the European Commission has identified a list of 14 economically important raw materials which are subject to a higher risk of supply interruption. But how did industry leaders respond to this threat? Are these raw materials still critical?

This workshop builds on the ZeroWIN project, an initiative which organises an exchange of by-products, energy, water, materials and waste between 30 industrial partners from 11 countries, with the aim to reduce GHG emissions by 30%, raise recycling levels to 70% and reduce fresh water consumption by 75%.

During the event, participants will be informed about the current state-of-the-art and future trends in resource efficiency, as well as learn about ecological legislation directly from the European Commission. Leading companies will present their visions on resource efficiency in the 21st century.
