Central bank opens office in Paris
Budapest, August 3 (MTI) – The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) opened its second international office, in Paris, on Monday, the central bank said in a statement.
NBH opened an office in Hamburg in July and will open ones in Rome, New York, Buenos Aires and Beirut in the coming months.
The offices are intended to raise NBH’s profile and work globally as well as strengthen and build on ties between other leading financial institutions in the region. They are staffed by a small number of professionals who know well the region’s economic and financial position.
