Hungarian wildlife photographer Bence Máté’s exhibition opens at St Stephen’s Basilica
President János Áder opened an outdoor exhibition featuring some 600 images by wildlife photographer Bence Máté at the square in front of St Stephen’s Basilica in central Budapest on Wednesday.
In his speech, the president noted the many accolades received by Máté, including the Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Wildlife Photographer of the Year titles.
He has published multiple books and his work has also been documented in a three-part film series, Áder said.
After Budapest, the exhibition will be taken on tour to other Hungarian cities starting with Debrecen in early April.
