‘Budapest Hotel’ Will Open The 2014 Berlin Film Festival
Wes Anderson’s highly anticipated “The Grand Budapest Hotel” will open the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival, it was announced today. On February 6th at the Berlinale Palast, the film will have its world premiere.
“We are very delighted that Wes Anderson will open the 64th Berlinale with his new film, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel,'” said Festival Director Dieter Kosslick. “With unmistakeable Wes Anderson charm, this comedy promises to kick things off in a big way.”
The film details the adventures of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), a “legendary concierge” at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa ( Tony Revolori), the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.
