The professional judges picked and announced the winner after two rounds.

In this year’s competition, the participants had to bake their creations in front of the judges, who then rated them based on professional aspects.

The winner was thus chosen: Norbert Tóth, from Tóth Pastry Shop in Dunaföldvár, and his cake called Boldogasszony csipkéje.

About the cake

“Boldogasszony csipkéje” is a traditional, folksy name for raspberry. It got its name for its lace-like leaves (csipke means lace in English). It is one of the healthiest fruit – aside from being delicious, it also contains lots of vitamins.

Every layer of the winning cake contains the delicious and very healthy fruit. One cake has over 600 grams of raspberry in it.
