Jobbik supports Fidesz initiative against migration quotas
Budapest, November 4 (MTI) – The radical nationalist Jobbik party supports ruling Fidesz’s signature drive against mandatory migrant quotas in Europe, but proposes that the questionnaire should be completed with questions about corruption.
Jobbik head Gabor Vona told a press conference on Thursday that the quota system was “detrimental, unsustainable and unfair”, which should be rejected without regard to party affiliation.
Apart from migration, corruption is a hazard for the country, Vona insisted, and said that people should be consulted over the proposal to address the latter problem.
