Brilliant Hungarian software supervises hand washing in Asia
Starschema, the leading big data company of Hungary has established an intelligent data analysing system, which is used by another company in Seattle called Splash. This program provides clean water and proper hygiene for millions of poor people.
Forbes reported that the American company uses the Hungarian method in order to supervise the effect they have on young children living in poor circumstances. They also analyse the number of absents from school, general health conditions, and children’s hygiene.
Splash was founded in 2007, and currently, they oversee eight countries in Africa and Asia and also provide clean water and infrastructure for bathing and preventing diseases.
This company usually installs bathrooms, purifiers, and clean water fountains in kindergartens, schools, orphanages, and hospitals. Besides these actions, the company also teaches people about how important proper hygiene is. Years ago, Splash decided to digitalise their devices in order to get data about the installed machines and fountains.
To analyse this massive amount of data, the American company decided to work with the method of the Hungarian Starschema.
Besides the machine’s data, the Hungarian company also analyses absents from school and the health conditions of individuals. The establishment of this system started during spring, several test-runs were made in the summer season, and the final program was ready at the beginning of this September. The system gives information about how frequently the machines are used and if there is a malfunction.
Moreover, it also gives data about how many children wash their hands properly, drink clean water, and what the positive or negative changes are in their hygiene.
