Handball World Cchampionship – Hungary beats Serbia

Serbia – Hungary 32-26 (18-16)

It looked like a walk over for the Hungarian team as the went into the lead by 10-4 in the 12th minute. The Hungarians even extended their lead to seven goals but in the last part of the 1st half the Serbs came back winning the last ten minutes by 8-2 making the half time deficit only two goals.

The Serbs had three times almost closed the gap but never came closer than one goal and in the dying minutes the Hungarians went further ahead.

They now have four points from the first two matches and the Serbs have one point.
