Good news for those who sometimes visit the Poles, whom we have a friendship stretching back to centuries, vezess.hu wrote.
The website wrote that the Estonian Lux Express company launches a new bus service between Warsaw and Budapest. Even a half year did not pass, another private company announced to enter the Hungarian market. The Polish PolskiBus operates two bus lines between Poland and Hungary every day. While you could hardly hear about it in the Hungarian press, all tickets were sold for the bus going from Warsaw to Budapest on Friday.
In fact, it is not a new line in the history of the company, since PolskiBus extended its Krakow line. A ticket costs 70 zloty (HUF 5000). A roundtrip ticket costs approximately 131 zloty (HU 10 thousand). The most convenient way to buy a ticket is via the company’s website in just a few steps.
According to vezess.hu, PolskiBus operates few-year-old Van Hool and ADL Plaxton buses on the Budapest line. There is Wi-Fi, there are toilets and leather seats on the buses. The company also provided the buses with elevators for disabled people, so they can travel by the buses as well.
The buses start from the Metro Wilanowska stop, Warsaw, to Etele Square, Budapest, at 8 am and 5:45 pm every day. The entire journey takes 12 hours, but experience has shown that the travel time can increase by one hour in the ski season because of the crowded roads in Krakow.
The private company, which has been operating since 2011, delivered more than 14 million passengers in Europe. The company has lines to 8 European cities: Bratislava, Prague, Vienna, Tallinn, Vilnius, Riga, Berlin and Budapest.
