A protocol to control the virus was put in place with immediate effect, he said. This is why a bus carrying Chinese citizens from Prague to Hungary was stopped at the border and the body temperature of the passengers was taken.
Gulyás said that airports and “sensitive” entry points to Hungary will be equipped with additional technical equipment.
Citing World Health Organization data of January 30, he said that 7,711 people had been infected with the virus and 170 died so far worldwide.
