Wizz Air to launch three news flights from Budapest
Budapest, January 8 (MTI) – Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch three new flights in the coming months, CEO Jozsef Varadi said on Friday.
Starting from March 27 the company will have two weekly flights to Liverpool and two to Reykjavik, in both cases on Wednesday and Sundays. From June 18 the company will launch a weekly Saturday flight to Ibiza.
According to portfolio.hu news portal, in 2015 the airline carried 19.2 million passengers, which represents a 22 pc increase over the previous year. The 22 Wizz Air base are currently working in 12 Central and Eastern European countries , it has developed a fleet of 63 units and 2,600 employees in the company.
