A student found a mammoth tooth in the river Drava – PHOTO

Flórián Babaics, a seventh grader from Vízvár has found a mammoth tooth in the river Drava which is already part of the school’s palaeontological exhibition, writes sonline.hu.

The student found the rare treasure during the winter break when the river’s water level was extremely low. The school pays special attention to teach their students how to take care of the environment.

The school has entered Cetelem’s Zöldsuli (Green School) program last year as well. The students made posters in the subject of water. The seventh graders made a Christmas tree out of recycled materials for their latest project. For example 505 plastic bottles have been used.
